Music for Relief supporters, artists, and pro surfers joined us at the Bo Bridges Gallery on Thursday 7/21, for a fun evening to raise awareness and funds for MFR’s Oceans Project, Mangrove conservation in Baja, Mexico. Earlier this year, Phoenix & Rob Bourdon from Linkin Park and pro surfers Koa Rothman & Koa Smith journeyed to Magdalena Bay to see the Mangroves and evaluate our program with WiLDCOAST. The photo exhibit enabled our supporters to share the experience virtually.
Guests were treated to delicious tacos compliments of Hot’s Kitchen, an open bar by Stillhouse, and surrounded by beautiful photos taken by renowned photographer Bo Bridges and video footage from the adventure by Mark Fiore & Jeff Coffman.
Music for Relief is committed to conserving 61 miles of mangroves along the coast of Magdalena Bay, Baja, Mexico in partnership with WiLDCOAST. Mangroves are shrubs and small trees that grow along the coast. They protect coastlines from being destroyed during natural disasters and help protect our atmosphere from climate change.
