Music for Relief and Bonnaroo teamed up this past week to kick-off the festival with a volunteer event at North Coffee Elementary School, with support from Hands on Nashville.
Bonnaroo aspires to be the greenest festival and set the standard for sustainability and greening practices, equipped with a team of volunteers and staff dedicated to promoting a socially responsible lifestyle. In what has now become an annual tradition, the Bonnaroo Works Fund partnered with Music for Relief to giveback to surrounding communities who serve as hosts to the thousands of festival goers by helping give a local school an update, revitalizing the hallways with a fresh coat of paint and murals.
Thank you to the Bonnaroo Works Fund for enlisting us, Hands on Nashville for providing support onsite, to the 30 volunteers who came from across the United States to donate their time, and to Principle Clark and the awesome folks at North Coffee Elementary School.
