We continue to track Hurricane Matthew’s destructive path and we are in communication with partners on the ground to launch an effective response. At this moment MFR will be working with International Medical Corps, Mercy Corps, and J/P HRO to provide immediate aid in Haiti which has been heavily impacted by the life-threatening winds and tidal surges. Our initial response will include medical treatment, food, as well as water and sanitation solutions to address the potential threat of cholera and other water borne illnesses.
We are incredibly grateful to Julian Lennon who is matching all donations to The White Feather Foundation for Music for Relief’s recovery effort in Haiti.
Special thanks also to Maroon 5, All Time Low, and Guster who have committed to supporting the relief effort.
